Can’t stop this
Won’t stop this
Can’t stop this
You won’t stop this
Fast cars, gold bars
Never impressed me much
Your status symbols are as pointless
As the war on drugs
Get a job, get a wife
Love my life from 9 to 5
Burn out at 35 alright
Always trying their best to keep you down
Broken system, broken dreams
As if you knew what’s best for me
Truth appears to those who seek
Still I can’t hide
That sinking feeling that
Keeps me up at night
I’m not alright
Looking for a fight
But I’ve lost it long ago
When I was born into a world
Of crooks and thieves
Running out of time
To make my choice for who
I’ll slave away my time
I’m not alright
I’ll never be like you
I’d rather kill myself
than be one of your kind
I’m not alright
A friend with a reliably fine musical taste posted this album on FB and I wasn't disappointed. Love the guitar sound and the passionate vocals (melodic enough to not pass as screamo or whatever). Punk rock spirit yet with a lot of dynamics (definitely a yes to the Dischord reference) and compact songs that won't leave your head for a long time. Many many
great tunes on here but for the moment USMA and Lay Low have to be my favorites! Great band, very happy to have found them! perpendikel
I love this EP because all of the tracks are a much-needed visit to hauntingly pummelling beats and distortion, that combined, create a beautiful and heavy vibe. Soul Blind to rule the world!!! roblybobly6
