Nobody smiles like you do
Will always have me coming back to you
Who knew that you would wash away
All this weight
you’re the torch that lights my way
So much brighter than the fireworks we watched Memorial Day
With you I’ll stay
Get high to pass the time
The only thing that I wanted
was to make you mine
Just like a nervous lucid dream
that I can’t forget
Just like a Joyce Manor song
Forever in my head
The next day I try
To make things right
The only thing that I wanted
Was to call you mine
Just like a precious little thing
you can’t stop looking at
Just like a Bukowski poem
Forever in my head
Life’s a drag
Don’t ignore
Things you’ve been
Fighting for
Life’s a drag
You’ve been sore
Trust me there’s
So much more
A friend with a reliably fine musical taste posted this album on FB and I wasn't disappointed. Love the guitar sound and the passionate vocals (melodic enough to not pass as screamo or whatever). Punk rock spirit yet with a lot of dynamics (definitely a yes to the Dischord reference) and compact songs that won't leave your head for a long time. Many many
great tunes on here but for the moment USMA and Lay Low have to be my favorites! Great band, very happy to have found them! perpendikel
I love this EP because all of the tracks are a much-needed visit to hauntingly pummelling beats and distortion, that combined, create a beautiful and heavy vibe. Soul Blind to rule the world!!! roblybobly6
