I’ve got a knife up my sleeve
Used it in my dreams
No need to scream
To be like this
Just be like this
Desperate to see
The way it used to be
When there was still
Something to hold on
This world is full
Of anger, greed, hypocrisy
Your silence speaks volumes
Its nothing less than an
Approval for greed
There’s no excuse
Life’s always been like this
We’re too smart to ignore
To be like this
To live like this
To just heed, give in
I’d kill myself
To prove to them
It’s not what it seems
And all those things you didn’t do
They’ll haunt you in your sleep
Another night
Another day
A Puppet on a string
Won’t you set me free?
A friend with a reliably fine musical taste posted this album on FB and I wasn't disappointed. Love the guitar sound and the passionate vocals (melodic enough to not pass as screamo or whatever). Punk rock spirit yet with a lot of dynamics (definitely a yes to the Dischord reference) and compact songs that won't leave your head for a long time. Many many
great tunes on here but for the moment USMA and Lay Low have to be my favorites! Great band, very happy to have found them! perpendikel
I love this EP because all of the tracks are a much-needed visit to hauntingly pummelling beats and distortion, that combined, create a beautiful and heavy vibe. Soul Blind to rule the world!!! roblybobly6
